Angela Barnes

Angela Barnes has worked in the media industry, in both PR and broadcasting, for the last nine years. She began her career as PR and marketing manger for one of London ’s top casting agencies, Kelly Kind, providing personal PR to a variety of actors, professional dancers and directors.

She orchestrated contracts for numerous high profile campaigns including The Brit Awards, the Disney Kids Choice Awards, High School Musical 2, as well as winning a supply contract for Jude Law film, Sleuth.

As well as film and TV, Angela also won contracts on numerous music videos and tours through Universal and Sony music; her campaigns included working with Prestige Management on Busted and McFly’s campaigns.

In 2006, Angela moved into journalism, as an award winning journalist she went on to work for The Evening Standard, Channel 5 and is also now employed by British Sky Broadcasting.

With a BA Honours degree in Journalism with PR and also studying at the London College of Law, Angela is in a prime position to promote and protect your business, having an upper hand on most, having worked on both sides of the fence. Knowing what journalists want to get you the coverage you need.
