Solo Events at the Orange Rooms in Southampton
Wednesday 18th November sees Solo Events at Orange Rooms in Southampton.
Their gorgeous belly dancer, Maria Hilliard; will be dancing for guests at an 'Arabian Nights' fundraiser at the venue and will be tantalising guests with her exotic moves from the heart of the Middle East.

Winter Ball - "A Night in the West End" Friday 27th November 2009
Time: 7pm - Midnight
Venue: Macdonald Botley Park Hotel Golf & Country Club, Winchester Road, Southampton
The Solo Events team are supporting Wessex Heartbeat with their sensational West End themed Winter Ball at the Macdonald Botley Park Hotel.
The evening promises to be a spectacular occasion, and includes a black tie reception, with a three course dinner, charity auction, table magician Paul Newton, pre-dinner entertainment from Miscellany and after dinner swing to soul band Madison Heights.

Solo Events to provide entertainment for Solent University
 Solo Events team were contacted by Venuemasters UK to provide entertainment for local Solent University and Solo Events have booked the fantastic DJ Output for the conference and dinner being held at the university on the 12th November 2009.

Solo Events at The Mall opening in Southampton
Thursday 26th Feb 2009 saw grand opening of the new catering and entertainment area of The Mall, Southampton and the Solo Events team were invited to a champagne reception to watch the unveiling by The Mayor of Southampton: Brian Parnell.
The new entertainment quarter will also be offering evening entertainment for all starting in March 2009 and Solo Events will be supplying the sounds.
Solo Events would like to wish The Mall, every success with their latest community venture!

Solo Events supports Wessex Heartbeat Charity Night
Solo Events are proud to support Wessex Heartbeat in their latest fund-raising event at Southampton General Hospital on April 1st 2009.
There will be a number of stalls, a raffle and live entertainment.

Solo Media looking for journalism & photography students
Solo Media are looking for journalism / photography students in Winchester and Southampton.
You will be required to travel across Hampshire and review shows, bands and events for a new monthly magazine. The work is freelance and unpaid however expenses will be covered by Solo Media.
This is a great opportunity for any budding photographers / Journalists to get their name on the map.

Solo Events are looking for hip-hop dancers
Solo Events are currently looking for 8 strong male hip- hop dancers between the ages of 18 – 24 to join our dance troupe Passion. You will be part of the touring troupe and the gigs will be across the south of England.
This will be paid work and you will be required to attend weekly rehearsals and perform in the evenings / weekends.
If you have what it takes then please email Solo Events at media@soloevents.biz with your dance resume and photo. Auditions will take place in October in Southampton and we will call all successful applicants with the date and time. Good luck and hope to hear from you.

Cabaret night at Southampton General Hospital
 Solo Events were the planners of a very successful cabaret night at The Southampton General Hospital on the 24th of July to raise money for Wessex Heartbeat.

New role within Wessex Heartbeat Charity
Solo Events Director, Caroline Wright, is honoured to have been appointed as an ambassador for the Wessex Heartbeat Charity.
Her role will involve representing the charity at functions, events and will allow her to offer her advice and experience to others who may be suffering from a heart condition or loss of a family member through heart disease. Caroline would like to thank Wessex Heartbeat for their generosity in offering her this prestigious role and looks forward to representing the charity in the future.

Solo Events Feature on Five News
 Solo Events Director, Caroline Wright was featured on a national news broadcast for Five News on Friday 18th July 2008.

Solo Events in association with Fruit Bar & the Dolphin Hotel in Southampton, will be holding a promotions casting for sexy and out-going girls and guys on Monday 16th June 2008.
The casting will take place in Fruit which is joined to The Dolphin Hotel, can be found at 35, The High Street and our team will be down there from 12-2pm to meet and interview applicants.
Come on down meet with our team and why not have a cocktail whilst your there as Fruit specialise in Champagne and Cocktails as well as live entertainment for all!

Wessex Heartbeat Charity Cabaret Fundraiser

Solo Events in association with Wessex Heartbeat are holding a charity fundraising night at The Wessex Heartbeat Education Centre on Thursday 24th July 2008 from 7pm-11pm Come along and be welcomed by a drink from the champagne fountain and treat yourself to scrumptious canapés, be entertained at your table by magicians and caricatures. Be dazzled by dance troupes, live entertainers and a variety of band who offer fantastic original and covered repertoire. There will be a prize filled raffle including beauty pamper sessions, a fashion photo shoot and much more! Mix this with celebrity guests and your evening is complete so call to book your table now!
Tickets are priced at just £20 and this includes champagne and canapés. Solo Events feature in The Southern Daily Echo
The Southern Daily Echo dedicated a centre page double spread (http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/video/video/display.var.2194579.0.0.php?search=caroline%20wright)to Solo Events Creative Director, Caroline Wright, following her recent heart surgery at Southampton’s Wessex Cardiac Unit.The piece focussed on Caroline’s life-threatening congential heart condition and her wish to use Solo Events to fundraise for the Wessex Heartbeat Charity (http://www.heartbeat.co.uk)which is based at Southampton General Hospital. Solo Events will now be directly fundraising for the new Young Person’s Congenital Heart Ward at the hospital and will be using their very own Passion Dance & Gymnastics squad to promote a healthy heart and active lifestyle. Working alongside the CEO of the charity D'Arcy C.F. Myers, Solo Events will be raising money throughout 2008.

Solo Events @ The Hampshire Tennis Club
 Solo Events are currently working with The Hampshire Tennis Club for their 2008 Summer Ball which is in aid of the Race for Life. The ball will take place at the club on Saturday 19th of July 2008 and will be raising money for the cancer charity.Guests will enjoy fine cusine, live entertainment, bucking broncos and champagne fountains at the event along with other special touches thorughout the night. Solo Events invited to support memory of football legend Sir Alan Ball
The Solo Events team were invited as VIP guests to the Wessex Heartbeat Ball at St. Mary’s Stadium to commemorate the life of Sir Alan Ball, who was a loyal supporter of the charity. The annual event was attended by celebrities inlcluding Roger Black and Ewan Thomas and the event raised thousands of pounds for the charity. Creative Director, Caroline Wright, would like to thank the charity’s CEO and Deptuty for the kind invitation to such a wonderful event. Solo Events will be working closely with Wessex Heartbeat to organise future events for the charity. This will be a great honour to contribute to such a worthy cause.
